Reach Robotics is the company behind MekaMon - the four-legged augmented reality battle mech recently launched with Apple across the UK, US and EU. Using robotics and augmented reality, we’re creating unique experiences that aim to entertain, educate and inspire.

Friday afternoons are dedicated to stepping away from the desk to game and work on projects outside our normal scope. We operate on flexitime between 8am - 6pm and have regular social events planned throughout the year. There are also healthy snacks, great coffee and a fantastic atmosphere in our brand-new offices.

The role:

The main objective of the role is to work within the finance dept whilst supporting other areas of the business with the management accounts, budgets, forecast analysis and costings. Due to the dynamic nature of the business it will be a part time role but there will be the opportunity to grow and develop the role will possibility for more hours as we grow.

A key part of the role will be driving process improvements & be part of a team introducing a new ERP System. Experience working within a manufacturing business is essential and strong excel skills.

Main functions & responsibilities of the role:

  • Preparing budgets, forecasts & monthly reports
  • Monthly management accounts & spend analysis to support R&D claim
  • Inventory accounting, driving process improvements
  • Validating sales commission & costing
  • Import/export accounting
  • Assisting budget, forecast, reporting – analysis process
  • Assist stat audit prep
  • International sales taxes/VAT and compliance

What we would like to see (apply if you have some of the below)

  • International tax
  • International VAT experience
  • Knowledge of duties & tariffs knowledge
  • Knowledge of double taxation
  • Experience in transfer pricing
  • Dutch tax & financial reporting
  • Management accounting experience, analysis & reporting
  • Excel Analysis skills
  • Manufacturing background
  • CIMA, or ACA/ACCA qualified / part qualified.
  • Patent box
